Puto Bumbong [I have a cuz named BONG]

I'm cravin' Philippine Xmas dessert PUTO BUMBONG! Yep that's the name, should write a song about it? PUTO BUM BUM BUM BONG! PUTO BUM BUM BONG! haha! These unique steamed rice cakes are ground and steamed in bamboo tubes. The rice cakes are then topped with butter and sprinkled with sugar and grated coconut. AY YAY!

Oh and the colour purple is NATURAL, made from a purple yam called UBE! Pinoys use it in icecream, cakes, bread, you name it! FUNKY eh?
